Chapter 81 went up early, and has now been deleted. This may well be my mistake. I generally assume operator error, and given how reliable RR's systems have been for me, it usually is a safe bet. I upload chapters on Sunday evening/Monday morning for the coming week, so that they all publish at a consistent time. Nobody likes waiting and waiting, right? A nice tidy system, where everything gets where it should go when it is needed. So seeing the uploads go up late, or days early and out of order is... stressful.

While operator error is the most likely cause, it's worth noting that RR has been wonky today. I don't know if anyone noticed (outside hypervigilant authors) but RS went very odd about an hour ago. Books with sub-200 followers were on the front page, and most of the top 10 had less than a thousand. Now, this was fixed in just a couple of minutes, but still. I know RR's admin team is getting ready to launch an RR app at some point in the not-too-distant future, and my, purely speculative take is that they are making tweaks under the hood to optimize the site for that. The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement.
